The idea was to illustrate and letter the cover for Alice in Wonderland, there were a few limitations on the brief: just 2 colors and simple illustrations showcasing most of the characters of the book.
Designing Book Covers
For the Alice in Wonderland book cover I combined custom lettering and illustration to bring Lewis Carroll’s whimsical world to life. I designed the hand-drawn typography with playful curves and flourishes to reflect the magic and unpredictability of Wonderland. To enhance the storytelling, I intertwined delicate illustrations with the lettering, subtly referencing iconic elements like the White Rabbit’s pocket watch and the Cheshire Cat’s mischievous grin. This fusion of artistry and narrative creates a timeless, eye-catching design that invites readers to step into Alice’s adventures.
